Our dog Tink had a rough start in life. He was found by Theresa’s ex-husband on 8/3/2012. He found him near a garbage can on the side of their house. He was approximately 4 months old. He was very bony and matted. He was very weak. So, they brought him inside and fed him and gave him milk and water. The only food they had was Khan adult food and he chowed it down. He was also given a bath. On Wednesday they bought some Caesar puppy food. On Thursday he was taken to the Veterinarian to see if he was chipped. He wasn’t, so they decided to keep him. He weighed 4.9 pounds and he received his first set of shots. He was also dewormed and his ears were cleaned out. They were advised to get him completely shaved. Theresa was not getting much sleep and was up all night. She commented that she now knows what it’s like having a baby in the house. Theresa and I have been together since 2014 and Tink was my first dog. We treated him like a son. He brought joy into our lives. He would sit with us while watching TV. He slept in our bed. He would follow one of us around the house most of the time. When we came home from errands, he would get so excited, like we had been gone for a couple of days. He was all love and we couldn’t get enough of it. We reciprocated that love as well. His final days were tough on us and of course, him too. We are heartbroken but we are glad that he was with us at home when he passed
