First I’d like to say, I never thought losing our precious dog would be this hard. We got Tati 14 years ago, when a friend of ours didn’t want her and was on the verge of taking her to the pound, we instantly loved her tiny little self. We were young ourselves only 16 and 17 years old, recently married with our almost one year old boy when she came into our lives. Not long after we brought our 2nd boy into the world, with Tati right by his side. My husband and I would take many dogs from the pound, train them get them well and give them to good homes, but never once did giving her away cross our minds. We moved to our first home, where shortly later she became a mother to 9 puppies. After that we became pregnant with our 3rd son, who grew very close to her. Among our 10 years in the small town of Grove Ok, we decided to make a change for the better and moved to FL, all with her next to us!In 2017 we found out we were expecting our 4th and final/ first little girl. In 2018 Tati was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer, and we decided to go through the surgery of having her tumor removed, overall she was a healthy old lady, as the vet had said, and we did everything in our power to make sure she was and made sure we could give her every opportunity. From there on her blood work came back great, and she was the healthiest 14 year old they ever seen. On Oct 14th around 10:30 pm she found her way out of our backyard gate, and was hit and killed by a careless driver. Writing her story is the hardest thing I have done yet, and I am so grateful that She was apart of our lives and our children’s for 14 years. She was the best dog in the world and loved by so many! She wasn’t suppose to go this way, and because of that I will forever fell guilt, but we will always hold her near and never forget her! RIP our sweet girl! Fly High we will meet you on the rainbow bridge!
