Nathan was a perfect stinky old man. Even when was a couple years old, he acted like an angry old man. What started as a day I woke up, and said I want to go get him, change our lives. Nathan was always so excited to go for a walk, a car ride, or to go to grandma’s. He was so smart. He learned paw when he was middle aged. Once he did, he always threw it up before asking. He would tap tap in his bowl for food. He didnt do many doggie things, but he would roll over dead fish when he found them. AHH. as he got older, his walks became shorter, but didnt change his excitement. He started having health problems, heart failure and then kidney failure. In his last few months the, excitement lowered, and sleep was always the thing. He always loved nap time anyways. He did things at his own pace. We supported him through everything. He passed on his own terms at home, in our arms. We will never forget the ~15 years of life we spent with him. He changed our lives and we changed his. Nothing will be the same again. We love him so much and cant wait to see him again on the other side. I know hes running around again, and hopefully has found grandma and grandpa again. I hope you had a great life Nathan.
