We got Calla 2 days after my 13th Birthday. I was so excited since I had begged my parents for many years for a dog and we finally got her. When I first got to hold her, she was so small and scared, since she just had traveled from Spain to Germany per plane. Calla is the only dog that I know that has an actual passport. She got to travel to many places in her life time and I think she enjoyed seeing and peeing in new places including Italy, Czech Republic, Chicago, and Florida. My family always joked that Calla was Half-Human because she when she slept in my bed, she would not sleep on the end of the bed like most dogs. Instead she would put her head on one of my pillows and spread herself out. Definitely taking up more than half of my bed. I didn’t mind at all since she was my favorite cuddle buddy. I am definitely going to miss taking her on walks to the Lakefront in Chicago. It was one of her favorite spots since we always let her of the leash and there were plenty of sticks and balls to play with. Also going to miss our Doggy Yoga sessions. She is the only dog I know that liked being put on her back and being stretched out. I think she liked them especially after long walks and fetching balls for hours. I am going to miss you so much Calla. Hope you get all the treats, balls, toys and long walks up in Doggy Heaven. Love you so much and thanks for being the best dog for the last 13 years.
